THEMIS advises and supports SOLWODI e.V. in the realignment of its non-profit structure. '
SOLWODI campaigns for the rights of foreign women in Germany who have experienced hardship and violence, be they victims of human trafficking, sexual exploitation and prostitution, forced marriage or other violence. The women concerned are accompanied by experienced social workers. We offer psychosocial care, organise medical or legal support, help in finding housing and jobs or arrange German courses and vocational qualification measures. The care is always geared to the specific needs and individual situation of the respective client and her children.
SOLWODI stands for SOLidarity with WOmen in DIstress. The association is recognised as a non-profit organisation in Germany and works independently and non-denominationally. SOLWODI has 19 counselling centres and seven shelters for women and children in need throughout Germany.
