The law firm, which specialises in art law, private clients and actors, has gained a partner for the Berlin office and a senior associate for the Munich office.

Konstantin von Reden-Lütcken, MBA (Media Management), has been a lawyer for twenty years with a focus on copyright and media law, general civil and corporate law and criminal law. Konstantin von Reden-Lütcken complements the Themis partner team as an experienced copyright and media lawyer with a complementary focus on compliance and criminal law. Konstantin initially worked as a lawyer in the animated film industry (film financing, co-productions, due diligences, licensing agreements, contracts with creatives) before advising companies on media law, corporate law and compliance in the capital market (small IPOs, due diligences, compliance, securities prospectus law). For the past five years, he has been investigating internal corporate matters in preparation for the assertion of claims for damages and criminal charges. In parallel, he defends clients in white-collar criminal law and continues to pursue his passion for copyright and media law. This passion comes from his own painting and photography.

Senior Associate RA Franziska Stalleicken, MLitt

THEMIS has strengthened its Munich office with an experienced lawyer as a senior associate. Ms Franziska Stalleicken was admitted to the bar in 2013 and has been working in the international art market since 2007.

In addition to her legal qualifications, she has a Masters in History of Art and Art-world Practice and a post-graduate Diploma in Modern and Contemporary Art from the University of Cambridge.

After working in London for many years - at Christie's auction house in various departments and as a lawyer for the single family offices of two international art collectors, Franziska Stalleicken has been representing art and gemstone collectors, art dealers, artists and family offices, among others, as a lawyer since 2015.

Franziska Stalleicken offers her clients comprehensive advice on wealth issues, international inheritance and inheritance tax law, foundation law and business succession. In 2019, she completed a specialisation as a "Certified Family Officer" (FVF).

After several years of training and working abroad, including in England and Brazil, Franziska Stalleicken also advises her clients in English and Portuguese. She holds legal language certificates in Brazilian law from the Humboldt University of Berlin, in Anglo-American law from the University of Potsdam, and in French legal terminology from the Université de Genève.
