Art lawyer Hannes Hartung writes for KUNST UND AUKTIONEN

The Munich art lawyer Dr Hannes Hartung is the new author of KUNST UND AUKTIONEN. From now on, he will regularly publish articles on art law in the "Art & Law" section. His first text appears in issue no. 2 of 2 February 2018 on the new Cultural Property Protection Act. After their publication in KUNST UND AUKTIONEN, the articles will also be published on WELTKUNST ONLINE at www.weltkunst.de published.

Hannes Hartung has been a lawyer for art and cultural law, media, monument protection and non-profit since 2002. He is the founder and managing partner of THEMIS Hartung & Partner. He became known to a wider public as the former lawyer of the late art collector Cornelius Gurlitt. He has also regularly taught art law at the universities of Munich, Hagen and Graz since 2006.

KUNST UND AUKTIONEN, the trade journal for the international market, is published by ZEIT Verlag and appears 20 times a year.
