A special focus is the dedicated and well-founded advice and representation of monument owners.
Dr. Hartung is one of the few lawyers in Bavaria and Germany with proven and in-depth expertise in the law on the preservation of historical monuments, including all tax issues. By the way: Our head office is also located in one of Munich's most beautiful monuments at Platzl 5, registered in the list of monuments as a
- Former Corpshaus Bavaria, now Corphaus Rheno-Palatia, four-storey corner building with polygonal, domed corner oriel and rich façade structure in German Renaissance forms, built by Jakob Heilmann and Max Littmann, 1899/1900; with remains of the historic city wall, 1285-1337, at the passage to the east.
- In our office on the first floor at Platzl 5, the unforgettable Therese Giehse their cabaret programme Die Pfeffermühle. The rooms of our office were used as a theatre for a long time until the 1950s. Even today, you can still glimpse the stage on the ceiling in one of the rooms in our office.

Since 2008, we have been advising and representing monument owners in large projects on all issues of monument protection nationwide. In doing so, we focus on a fair balance of interests in the interest of our clients with the authorities in order to achieve the owners' goals appropriately.
